I have recently purchased my lovely 1970;s hard bodied marmet pram which I am over the moon with !!, not completely sure of the exact year, to be honest.

Unfortunately the pram didnt come with an apron, so I was wondering where I may be able to get hold of the material that matches the hood, it is a dark brown corduroy material with quite a chunky wide line the material also feels nylon or man made not like normal corduroy material and it seems to have a waterproof backing.

I would love to complete the look of my pram as could really do with some advice.

Thanks

Sarah

hi sarah

cannot help with the model of your pram, as a picture would be needed, there were 100,s of different pram models! also a lot of pram makers too

the fabric will not be so easy though.

you may find you will have to have the hood and the apron re-covered, for a perfect match..

the fabric used on the prams, would have all been waterproof, they had to be really?

that would be the only way to complete the look...there are some wonderful fabrics available to purchase, to do the recovering.

Thanks

Jackie
