Coachbuilt Prams, Canopies and Quilt Sets

If any of you were at Llandudno this weekend, May Bank Holiday you will know what a brilliant weekend we had!    There were hoards of people all enjoying themselves in the warm spring sunshine, with very little breeze, by the sea!   There was a parade each day of the Bank Holiday, at 12 noon from the Railway Station right round the town and into the centre, on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.  Saturday was the best day for weather, but Sunday was by far the most popular and the parade was about twice as big as the Saturday parade.

Everyone who wore costume made a real effort to capture the feeling of the Victorian event and it was a sight I shall always remember.   The sounds were incredible, from Scottish pipers to a girl drumming band, from a children's marching band to a Chinese dragon exhibit, all wonderful in their own ways.

Here is a selection of the things I will remember for you to see for yourselves and maybe, next year, you will be able to make it to Llandudno and support this event.  Many thanks to David Nunn and his supporters for laying on such a well planned weekend.

This was an amazing girl drumming band - some of the girls were older than others!!   But WOW! they were something else!!

Jeananne won the Best Victorian Costume Competition which was a great surprise for us both!!

The girl in red look absolutely stunning - the pattern for her dress came from Paris!!

We had loads of ladies asking us questions about the prams and the costumes, several ladies wanted to buy our prams, which was encouraging!

We weren't the only ones with a pram!!

This little girl was so sweet in her little Victorian coat!

Welcome
